About us

We pride ourselves on the fact that Geseidl is a family business.

We officially debuted in July 2003 from a single family (4 people) and then grew up quickly, keeping the values of family and friendship both between us and our customers.

At present, we are a national brand that provides audit and tax advice services with a well-structured team of economists, accountants, tax consultants, human resources inspectors and IT specialists.

Where did we start?

What seems to be so fascinating in adding numbers, filling-in thousands of forms and handling tons of documents? If you only see these aspects it may seem incredible to you, or even unnatural, to like these kind of things, right? The passion for accountancy doesn’t develop over night or all of a sudden…Many years ago, Mrs. Popa Gica, the founder of Geseidl’s vision, started her career in the economic field. Gradually, thanks to the dedication she had for this profession, she inspired those around her with her desire for improvement, and, when the time was right, from economical point of view, she established the basis of Geseidl.

Starting from the family’s values, we, the ones who joined the team later on, discovered and amplified our motivation for doing this job, that is to help those around us; to bring hope where it seems that there is nothing much left to do, to help the ones who think that there is nothing to be happy about today smile, to give trust to those who do not see any reason to go on, to support the ones who need it…It’s so wonderful to discover how easy you can make the world a better place from where you stand. We are not Superman, nor any other superhero, but simple people, who are willing to help the ones who surround us and this goal gives us wings to go further and overcome any obstacles.

2003

  • July 2003, creation of Geseidl
  • December 2003, 4 employees and 2 interns

2004

  • February 2004, we invest IT department
  • July 2004, first headquarters extension and redevelopment
  • December 2004, Geseidl already had 7 employees

2005

  • February 2005, we begin the implementation of the Quality Management System
  • July 2005, we sign the contract no. 50
  • August 2005, the first Geseidl teambuilding (and the 2 years anniversary cake)
  • October 2005, we were certified according to the ISO 9001:2000 standard by AJA Registrars (certificate no. 05/9449/20.10.2005)

2006

  • January 2006, we continue the hiring process. We implement the intensive internal training system. We sign the contract no 100. We establish Geseidl Human Resources
  • February 2006, the team-buildings already become a tradition (we step up to 4 team-buildings/year). We become ANEVAR members
  • July 2006, we extend the headqurters again
  • August 2006, the Quality Management System upgrades to the 2nd version
  • November 2006, we meet the first clients to which we provide ISO9001 implementation
  • December 2006, we already are in Top 10 according to the Trade Registry’s database

2007

  • February 2007, the team exceeds 20 members
  • August 2007, we celebrate 5 years of Geseidl on the Aegean coast
  • December 2007, we sign the contract no. 200

2008

  • January 2008, we move on to Gestime management software
  • July 2008, we are members of the Chamber of Tax Consultants of Romania, registered as tax consultancy company Ploiesti on no.233 in the Registry. In the present, on the CCF website the accounting companies are not listed anymore, but you can find us at no. 92/Prahova. (Popa V. Gica)
  • December 2008, we take the 1st place in Prahova county for accounting services

  • February 2009, we get the Quality Management System certification according to the international ISO 9001:2000 standard, through the certification body TÜV Rheinland, for the certified domain
  • October 2009, we face the crisis through major IT investments
  • December 2009, we take the 1st place in Prahova county for accounting services, again

  • June 2011, we obtain the Quality Management System certification according to the international ISO 9001:2008 standard, according to the certification authority TÜV Rheinland, for the accountancy company, payroll Ploiesti field
  • September 2011, we sign the contract no. 300
  • September 2011, CECCAR Prahova honored us with the 1st place and the special prize in the Top of Accounting Companies of Prahova
  • October 2011, we receive the A rating from the Control Room of the Chamber of Auditors in Romania
  • December 2011, we take the 2nd place in Prahova county for accounting and financial audit services

  • September 2012, CECCAR Prahova honors us again with the 1st place and the special prize in the Top of Accounting Companies in Prahova
  • October 2012, we get the III-rd place in Romania, for small accounting companies from CECCAR România
  • November 2012, Talea team-building, voted as „the most successful Geseidl team-building!”

  • We receive the first place and the special prize from CECCAR Prahova

2018

  • We launched the Geseidl Art Project. It is our ambitious project that puts the idea of community in the forefront. A community that, beyond figures or projects, unites businessmen around a desire to "make a better world." No, it's not a utopia or a social project. Geseidl Art is a vision of change. We are proof that "it can" and prove that Art is in everything we do.
